How much is the Security Deposit?

The Security Deposit is equivalent to one month's rent. It must be paid up front. No vouchers.

Do you require a Lease and for how long?

A Lease is always required. It may be a month-to-month lease or up to one year. A house will be a one year lease and apartments are usually a six month lease. I like to time the lease to expire during the months April thru October.

Do you allow pets?

Dogs are never allowed. I may allow a cat or a caged animal. Damage resulting from any pet will be deducted from the security deposit.

After the security deposit is paid and the first month's rent is paid.

How do I get you to hold the apartment for me?

When the security deposit is paid I will hold the apartment for a short time.

I changed my mind, I don't want this apartment. Can I get my security deposit back?

Security deposits are not refundable until the completion of a lease. The security deposit insures me that you will complete the lease. You might get a refund or partial refund if I am able to find another tenant.
